Women's Cancer Screening
The Salt Lake Valley Health Department Women's Cancer Screening Program provides free and low cost Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Exams to women ages 40-64 who live in households with an income of up to 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
These guidelines change annually so please check with us again if your income is over the guidelines.
The BeWise Program is a grant funded program that provides FREE cardiovascular risk screenings to women ages 50-64 that meet certain income guidelines. Cardiovasular screenings include: Weight, Height, Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Glucose (blood sugar) and A1C (for diabetics). Participants in the BeWise Program also receive FREE lifestyle counseling in addition to the cardiovascular screenings and regular Women's Cancer Screening Exams.
