New Public Pool/Spa
Constructing a new pool and/or spa requires an inspection process through the SLVHD.
Approval
To be approved for construction a Utah Licensed Contractor must submit seven copies of plans to the SLVHD.
- Fees for Submitting Plans (34 KB)
Plan Review
After the plans have been submitted and the appropriate fees are paid our inspectors will conduct a Plan Review.
If there are questions concerning the plans or errors found, the inspector will call the licensed contractor and discuss appropriate revisions.
Inspectors will also inspect during the construction phases which will include a Pre-Gunite inspection and a Pre-Plaster inspection.
Some pools/spas will require additional inspections and the SLVHD inspectors will discuss those with the contractor as it arises
