About Magna Healthy Community:
The Magna Healthy Community Committee exists to provide programs to the residents of Magna to educate them, help improve their overall health and quality of life.
- Get Up, Get Moving, Get Healthy Contest: This contest is not your ordinary weight loss competition. It is designed to emphasize safe and healthy weight loss through lifestyle changes. These lifestyle improvements are achieved through physical activity, nutrition, and stress management. This competition is based on body composition or improvement in body fat percentage. The goal of this competition is not the most weight lost but the greatest improvement in body composition or body fat percentage.
