The Salt Lake Valley Board of Health recently adopted amendments to Health Regulation #1, "Solid Waste Management and Permitting Regulation" and Health Regulation #21, "Community Noise Pollution Control Regulation" at the Salt Lake Valley Board of Health meeting held August 7, 2008 at 7:30 a.m. at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 South State Street, in room N2003, Salt Lake City, Utah.

The public comment period for these regulation amendments ended on June 3, 2008. Public comments were received on both Health Regulation #1 and Health Regulation #21. Health Department staff responded to public comment and made changes to the regulations where appropriate. Copies of the Department's responses to public comment, and copies of Health Department Regulations are available for review on this website. Copies are also available during normal business hours at the following locations:
